Hit a CTRL key before scaling.

Can you scale using a specific point and not a corner grip?

At 1:35 when You scale, a red cube appears in the middle of the face, as You grab the corner cube. When I grab a corner cube, no red one appear in the middle, but the one on the opposing corner turns red. The problem is, I can't scale whole face "in every" direction. I scale the only part, which I'm holding, the opposite is not moving.

This is a great video, but there's a mistake at 2:30. She says that you can "type in 2.25 and press the 'enter' key to make the object exactly 225% larger." In fact, this would make the object 125% larger, or 225% of its original size.
