im taking a theatre production class and this just made my day! XD

When focusing fresnels between spot and flood, don't forget to move the slider gently and preferably when it is relatively cool. General fres design requires that you will be moving the lamp..

I enjoy your videos very much. I am on my stage crew at my high school, and we are one of canadas top crews, as unlike most high school lighting equipment, we have (and are educated about) PARs, Lekos, Fresnels, PARnels, scoops, gels, LED lights, mirror movers, and we rogram many cues (crossfades, allfades, effect, subroutines, and blockings) for shows, and for our fashion show we order a lot of cool stuff, like MAC 250s, foggers, 3 cell sike lighting, etc.

cool .. about time someone did something regarding using fresnels ....
How many watts are one of those?

@Jillz500 ,
Fresnels can hold different types of lamps; this unit is a 6" Fresnel (there are smaller and larger ones available - most common are the 6", 3" and 8"). These 6" Fresnels are typically 675-750 Watts. 8" are typically 2k (2000 watts), 3" tend to be 150 watts. Hope that helps!
