"Welcome to the Welton Inn, where you can help in our fight against environmental degradation. A towel on the rack means I'll use it again. Also, did you know that taking the elevator to your room uses 15 watts of energy? Consider taking the stairs. To make ice, simply fill your ice bucket with water and wait for winter."

Beware of companies that exploit your desire to be green. A GOOD Provocation.

  • 1:19 Watts are a measure of power, not energy.

  • i didnt see her take the stairs so i guess she took the elevator.

  • they may be green but thats disgusting cant they clean it? and that lady sounds like a man

  • ah... i've worked in the hospitality business for over five years. the pressure to implement these kinds of "green" programs actually come from complaints from guests about how hotels aren't energy efficient, etc. The programs are totally voluntary, for the hotels and the guests. A lot of hotels are encouraged by corporate to switch out for low-water flushing toilets, compact fluorescent light bulbs, etc. Water bills do go down, but it's not a huge fix. This video is a wide generalization.

  • it's basically saying some people will rip you off by faking being green

  • @mikecuzins That is what I wanna know.

  • True ending statement; I just recycle everything practical in my house and avoid anything having to do with hybrid cars.

  • @mikecuzins "Beware that businesses exploit that exploit your desire to be green" was a quick quote right at the end

  • I lol'd
