The 64 originally was supposed to have the sequential tail lights but they couldn't get the legilation passed soon enough so they didn't make it till 65. Your's is a 66.

My parents had a '63 T bird. The tail lights didn't do that.

it's a 1966, for sure, the first year of the full-width taillight for Thunderbird. 1965 was the first year of the sequential taillights for the T-bird (1967 for the Cougar). Thunderbird's last year for sequentials was 1971. Cougar's last year was 1973.

Thats a 66 Bird .......the 66 model was the one that came out with the sequential tail lights.......nice....peace out.
