@dardhus When you read try to get the meaning before talking nonsense. I was just trying to explain reasons Albanians converted to islam as in realist views. We are Albania European traditional muslims and have nothing in common with middle east or whatever. @dardhus In fact let me add to that, there are some Jewish believing Albanians also. Albanian are people like any other, while it may be easy for a Shkavell to look past someones humanity and hunt them down like a dogs, but for Albanians that is a no-go. Prishtina and Tirana are more open cities and the people are like any other European people,that is in terms of what they are wearing,in their musical tastes,in their arts and architecture and what's most important in the hearts of the people!You rarely see woman with headscarfs or in Islamic clothes,most woman are university students.

The Albanian Identy consists of Catholics, Protestants, Orthodoxs, Atheists, Suni Muslims and a few Bektashi. But however let us not forget that most Albanians don't give a crap in first place, but to compare Albanians Muslims to some Middle-Eastern scum is insane. Albanians are European-Oriented. Republic of Kosova is free and independent country since 2008 and recognized by 90 countries. Kosova has the right to self determination based on universal and equality rights amongs nations in the world community. We Albanians don't see the reason why we should be governed and colonialism by other nations

We converted to Islam because after 1878 Berlin treaty the European colonial powers Russia, Britain and France wanted to vanish our identity by trading our land like if it was their father land and by giving our land to slavs and greeks because so wanted Russia and Serbian orthodox church.We scarified religion in order to carry on the soul of our identity our European Latin language and stop Serbian and Greek church from assimilation

I mean albanians settled in while turks were derping around. I respect that. Im not sure how it's called on english but on serbian we call it Danak u krvi.
