@psylentknight There's also the simple matter of different recording equipment. Each one is set slightly different than the others, so they catch voices differently.

what cynthia harrell is singing that. she doesnt sound as deep as in the snake eater song.

Well they're a couple years apart. The game the song's on, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, came out in 1997, and Snake Eater was about 2005. I'd say she's gotten better with age :)
