  • You don't need to solo fast, just musically and effectively. As far as tips- practice your ass off, these guys didn't get this good playing Xbox.

  • My high school played this, but JBOA sounds way better on it (go figure). I also like the arrangement a lot more, it leaves little gaps everywhere for the audience's imagination to fill in. On solos, I think that John started real strong and jazzy but ended a little dryly with less swing. But he started great! I really like the smooth, mellow sound of the flugel. Great job, guys!

  • Agreed with Zombbg4 on both of those. And if you don't believe it that you don't have to solo fast, just listen to Michael Howland's solo on "I needs to be be'd with". Nothing fast, but still BOSS.
