I had that problem, remove the HD and place it back on,, make sure its on good,

I got this error on my 360 elite today. It was simply cause the harddrive werent properly connected. I removed it and clicked it on again, and it works fine now :)

If any1 else has this problem simply disconnect the hardrive turn the xbox on, wait ten seconds then turn off the console using the controller, unplug the av cord in the back (the one that connects to the tv,) then put in the hardrive and plug the cord back in. I used it because i tryed restarting the console but it came up everytime so I did this and It worked

e-68 is your hard drive error. you need to clear system cache then go into the hard drive and erase any game or saved file that has a yellow triangle next to the save. i have fixed 50+ xbox's. hope this helps

just happened to me, For me it was simply a problem with my power lead not being connected properly and now is working fine, still waiting for my ambulance after having a FUCKING HEART ATTACK tho.

fucking microsoft scaring the shit outta there consumers again!!! grrr what i wouldnt give for 20 minutes alone with the design team..
