SHERYLL: That's probably your parents.
[Kevin gently shook Sam awake as Sheryll and Joe headed for the front door. Frankie was the first they saw, and behind him getting out of the car were Mr. and Mrs. Jonas]
FRANKIE: Hey, love bugs. Where's everybody else?
JOE: Trying to catch up on sleep.
MRS JONAS: I hope you guys didn't stay up all night.
SHERYLL: We went to sleep as soon as we had everything set up, but it was pretty late.
MR JONAS: It's a good thing you guys decided to have the wedding here at home. The media just about went wild after the accident and somehow they caught wind that you and Kevin are getting married.
JOE: I have no idea how these people find out these things.
MR JONAS: Make sure the security around here is tight.
BIG ROB: I'm already on it.
[Joe and Sheryll helped them with their luggage into the house and up to their room]
MRS JONAS: Sheryll, when are your parents arriving?
SHERYLL: Just after lunch. They're coming in the same time as Sam's parents.
[They walked downstairs and Mr. and Mrs. Jonas saw all the decorations lined up in the living room]
MR JONAS: Looks like everything's ready.
SHERYLL: Just about.
SAM: We just have to make sure it's all set up correctly in the back.
[Sam joined them with a cup of coffee in her hand]
MRS JONAS: Hello Sam.
[She embraced Sam]
MRS JONAS: I'm so glad that you and Kevin have gotten through the past and that you two are getting married.
SAM: Thank you.
MR JONAS: Our boys did pretty well for themselves.
[Joe put his arm around Sheryll]
JOE: Pretty well? I think we did extremely well. I mean look at this gorgeous girl standing right beside me.
[Sheryll rolled her eyes, smiling]
MRS JONAS: Let me guess. Joe got to pick the place for your honeymoon.
SHERYLL: Yeah.

[Just like Sheryll said, her and Sam's parents showed up right after they had eaten lunch out on the terrace]
SHERYLL: Mom!
MOM: Sheryll! I've missed my baby. The next time you get into an accident, you call me right away, even if you're still unconscious.
DAD: Hey little princess.
SHERYLL: Dad, I'm getting married already. You don't have to call me that anymore.
DAD: I know, but you are my little princess.
[She hugged her parents tightly and Joe did the same—they would soon be his parents too]
DAD: So this is the house you've been talking about. You weren't kidding when you said we could fit a football field in the backyard.
MOM: This is a beautiful home. Thank you, Joe, for what you've done for Sheryll. She looks so much happier now that you're back in her life.
SHERYLL: Just bring out the naked baby photos, why don't you?
[She couldn't believe her parents choose today—the day before her wedding—to embarrass her in front of Joe. Beside their little family reunion was Sam's. Sheryll could see from the corner of her eye Sam being swallowed in a big hug between her parents]
SAM: Hi Mom, Dad.
MOM: Sam, there's a lot we have to talk about, but right now, I'm happy to see you alive and in one piece.
DAD: I can't believe my little girl is getting married.
SAM: [Smiling] Not you too, Dad.
DAD: Ok, ok. But can you blame a dad for missing his little girl?
SAM: I missed you, too.
MOM: Where's Kevin?
DAD: Hiding, where he should be.
KEVIN: Actually, I'm right here.
SAM: [Whispering] Dad, be nice or I won't let you walk me down the aisle.
DAD: Hey Kevin. How are you?
KEVIN: Good, thanks.
MOM: I trust you'll take care of Sam.
KEVIN: I promise I will. No worries about that.
MR JONAS: Why don't we give you all the grand tour before you have lunch?
[Mr. and Mrs. Jonas showed Sheryll and Sam's parents around the house and Sheryll was able to break away from her parent's stares. She took Joe by the hand and they were able to find a quiet enough area]
JOE: You're parents seem to approve.
SHERYLL: They like you and they know they can trust you. And my dad is loving the house.
JOE: That's cause it's perfect for us. I can see tons of little Joe Jonas Jr.s running into the pool.
SHERYLL: You mean falling into the pool.
JOE: Good point.
SHERYLL: Can you believe, that in less than 24 hours, I'm going to be...
JOE: Mrs. Joe Jonas.
[Sheryll took a deep breath]
JOE: You know I love you, right?
SHERYLL: Yes, why do you ask?
JOE: I don't think I say it enough.
SHERYLL: You don't have to say it. I feel it. After all these years we've been through I'm surprised you'd still take me.
JOE: Even though you were gone for 2 years, I still thought of you. And every time I saw you on a magazine or in a commercial, I wished you were right next to me.
SHERYLL: I'm sorry. I let it all get to me and it took me away from you.
JOE: But it did bring you back. Remember the first time we saw each other again?
SHERYLL: You were disguised as a gangster.
JOE: I meant, when we got together for the photo shoot. You wouldn't even talk to me.
SHERYLL: I didn't know how. I thought you hated me for leaving.
JOE: I could never hate you.
