You do know they where SUPPOSED to fall that way right? It actually is fairly strait forward to get a building to collapse strait down, you knock or weaken all the support structures. It makes for Faster clean up though if you tip a building, as the ruble is spread out more, allowing you to get at it with more people, a resource China has in abundance.
