Ashmore Estates, recently featured on the Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures, has long been the focus of local curiosity. Most of the pictures and footage in this video (aside from the old newspaper clippings) was taken by myself between 2001 and 2006, before the building was purchased and turned into a haunted house. Most haunted places either get abandoned or condemned there's a negative energy that surrounds these places there's a house here in Des Moines that is abandoned and old that drove my aunt out and my grandpa experienced stuff there.
