Join Queensland Police- sunny everyday, better money, better exchange rage for holidays back home. Overtime if ya want it, patrol cars that work. Latest gear and you can even buy any kiwi product over here you might miss. How do I know cuz i've done it- spread your wings people and see the sunny side.

I agree that academic ability isn't the only thing that matters, but they also test your physical strength and problem-solving skills. I imagine academic ability will be needed as police have to deal with the media and the public. Maybe it's that the recruits don't know what the police are looking for and so find it hard to comply or impress? I'm really sorry you're finding it hard to join the police. I've never tried so my argument is purely theoretical. Good luck for the future dude!
