Max's Vlog #2: DDR X2, Rock Band SE + RB1 + RB2, and DJ Hero

Second vlog entry, made this vlog specifically to show you guys the new games that i just recently got, and to also show you guys how i am doing in the DJ Hero laderboards.

NOTE: the extra video that is shown in the middle was taken on October 27th, 2009, basically the day when DJ Hero was released. As of now there have been other players that have beaten my score, but i am still in the top 10 in the DJ Hero leaderboards, not necessarily #1 :P

Like i said, keep watch on my channel as i will make DJ Hero and DDR X2 videos soon, hopefully sometime this week.

Well as you may have known, I bought DDR X2 like a week ago. I went to every GameStop store until I found one. I was gonna buy the game itself, but there was only one left with the dance pad, so I bought the last one.

That was actually what i was planning on doing, getting the EMPRESS CS because of it's vast library of songs from that mix, a couple from SIRIUS, and a few others from past mixes.

As for the BMS US controller, that's going to be a hard find on my end, even on the internet they would run at a pretty steep price for my wallet >_>.

There's no better choice right now than beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS. A bargained price game (around 85 bucks US) that contains 198 songs spanning two DVDs. The first disc is all of the EMPRESS arcade song list plus all the new home version songs and about 30 revivals from various games. The second disc called PREMIUM BEST is 99 songs taken from past versions of the game. Take it as a sampler of what games you've missed.

For the controller, get a used beatmania US bundle. They work on JP games.

Dude, i have had my DJ Hero controller since Day 1, i have played some of the craziest mixes on Expert difficulty and nothing has happened to it...

...guess i got lucky :D

I like X2's theme better then X. Song choices were poor because they chose songs that did not belong in DDR.

Also the turntables break after use for long periods of time. Many players have posted that their turntables are broken on bemanistyle after playing for a long time, and I have heard from other sources its the same thing. :( Hopefully yours is OK because you would have to send it back to Activision.

Idk, i am liking X2 a lot better than X as of now, pretty good song choices, but the step chart quality in this isn't as good as it's previous mixes.

As for DJ Hero, i got mines pre-ordered, picked it up day of release, and so far nothing's happened. BUT i have heard of some of the turntables being shipped either broken or defective, so yeah i can understand.
