This is a simple solution for iPhone 4 Proximity confusion that probably the software is unable to address accurately in several or almost iPhone 4s shipped in first lot. I received my 2 iPhone 4s on June 23rd 2010, a day earlier it was released and was set for sell in Stores. I tried the Proximity Fix several times and found a simple temporary fix of the so-called proximity-hype and fever in the hands of 100s of thousands. I hope, this will help stay calm to the thousands of proximity panic for a while until Apple officially fixes this issue with forthcoming updates as widely expected.

Its true video! I just tried it my self!

I just ordered a new proximity part from the internet..after i have changed the LCD

and i thought that i screwed the sensor...

i found this video by luck! guess what!! it works!!!! my sensor is working!

Its obvious that the Proximity Sensor only works if you are realy talking to someone. It does not make any sense to darken the display if you are waiting for the other side to pick up the call...
