There was oldest capital "Heijokyo" in Nara in Japan for 710 years in the Christian era. In 2010, the big event that memorialized the 1300th year is performed in Nara. The Buddhism reached Japan and fused with Japanese gods, and Buddhism culture peculiar to Japan was born. This is formula mascot character of Nara. His name is SENTO-KUN. He is a messenger of Buddha. And a staghorn grows to his head. The deer is considered to be a messenger of God in Nara.
