@Submissions101 hey how do you defend when they roll into you with their legs though?i get the arm loose but my partner is really strong(stronger than i am) and he just rolls into me and gets out.
-
i fail to understand how that would work. Could you explain it better?

easy, be fast and strong. strength and speed are the key to an armbar.

correct me if im wrong. but doesn't crossing your feet create space for the mask off escape? Isn't this a major no no?

@rjshoniker No, this is a major misconception the world over. Crossing the feet locks the shoulder in place and keeps everything tight. That is goal here and not only does Eddie push this concept but several BJJ black belts do too. However, crossing your feet while going for the arm bar off your back is something we do not do (the mechanics are different )

PEOPLE HELP ME OUT!
At my club, people dont defend the armbar like that. But they put their hand in to their biscep, kind of like the choke you would from the rear in MMA (the one BJ Penn does all the time). How can I break that bcos its very strong.
