Haha, this woman calls herself a rational? Think about it damnit, inhaling smoke in order to consume nicotine which gives her 'pleasure'. The only pleasure she is experiencing is the feeling of normality that non-smokers enjoy every day of their lives. When you are addicted to nicotine, you are no longer of sound and rational mind :] She seems to value her appearance quite highly; so in 20 years when her voice is raspy, her skin wrinkled, her teeth yellow, her lungs black... is that rational?

@zzsharka I honestly don't know any smokers who bug non-smokers to smoke. Exactly it's stupid no one knows any better than anyone else so people need to get over little things like smoking and focus on bigger things.

@LauranceCWright lol Smokers do the same with other things as most people think they know what's best for everybody else. Just like the smokers who say come on have one and before the anti smoking campaigns they used ot pressure non smokers into it big time.

@LauranceCWright lol must be pay back for all the times smokers used to try to get non smokers to smoke, still do in countries without lots of non smoking campaigns (but they still know it's bad for them to an extent). It is in our face in many countries throughout the world and we get sick smokers saying you should be able to smoke in restaurants etc (who cares if majority doesn't want to harm themselves with smoke)

It's all about domination. Some people want to obsess others. Smokers have been chosen as "legitimate" victims of public obsession. You can humiliate them without getting punished. Even smokers themselves gladly take it. So many people take the chance.

Why do non-smokers care so much about people who do smoke? This is something I've never understood. Non-smokers always say it's because they care but at the same time they always have that holier than thou air too them like they know what you should do with your life and if you don't do it then you better get ready for a lifetime of nagging.
