Only 99% of the homes, offices, factories, and other buildings in America need to be retrofitted to make them more efficient. That can means jobs for millions of workers and opportunities for thousands of small businesses for at least the next 50 years.

@elgato105 Yup, Producing CO2 is the greenest thing you can do for Earth, most plants evolved with far higher CO2 'pollution' & still prefer 1200-1500 ppm- countries with the lowest 'emissions' Somalia, Ethiopia etc are far worse for the environment

Did anyone forget that CO2 is a vital to all life on earth? Every living thing makes it or uses it. Humans cows ducks dogs trees grass etc.

I was an oppenent of global warming but now I'm not so sure. The problem is that many times in history co2 has reached a level where mass extinctions occur. For one to understand global warming gases one must understand radiative forcing and that co2 responds with a lag. co2 gases have been increasing since the industrial revolution. Humans are adding to the atmosphere and obviously plants can't keep up our there wouldn't be more C02. It's a complicated problem that many would rather avoid.

china is the lead emitter of CO2, just for reference. the passed the US quite a bit ago.
