  • Bray was the one who first used the sistem of make a static background, and another layer for the animated drawings. In this way they didn't need to make the entire draw of the sceene for every frame. Whith this they save a lot of time of work, and make the productions more cheap to make.

    Technically it was a revolution, but the animation wasn't the focus of their enforcements.

  • The animation is actually pretty terrible. Although it might of been the norm for the times, it pales in comparison to animation by Winsor McCay.

  • The animation of this was phenomenal for it's time. Another of my favorites is "Krazy Kat and Ignatz the Mouse at the Circus" dated 1916 and done by Leon Searl
