  • This is the tune I learned at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Mobile Alabama, USA, where we sang it frequently but we took it somewhat faster & much louder, much more joyfully and "festively"--forte e grandioso. The beginning always reminded me of the first choral entrance in Zadok the Priest by Handel-- those glorious long. loud chords after the energetic, repetetive instrumental intro which sounds like it could have been written by Phillip Glass! (con't below)

  • But I have not heard this tune in maybe 10 years-- I would like to know who the composer is and publisher or other info to help me obtain a copy of the sheet music. Thank you if you can help in a comment below!

  • But we sing via a different tune, more 'upbeat'

  • Love this song
