Cadence

I've been working on this video off and on through the past week and a half. I wanted to make a video over the past few months of our improvements and my favorite moments with him.

I've had several people not know the situation (even from the beginning so I'll explain again) One of my friends, Casey Boxall, took classes with me when I first started agility. Once I left that trainer and Casey moved to China for business reasons we sort of lost touch. One day on facebook she messaged me asking if I wanted to run her dog, Cadence, as he was unable to go to China with her and she wanted him to have something to do. I thought it would be fun and I haven't seen Cadence since he was only a year old. So I went in on that offer and I started taking him with me to fun matches, classes, and training in the backyard. I knew he had some stuff to work on like weaves, jumping, contact confidence, and learning my style of handling. I originally hand in mind that I was going to trial with him in October at a very nice trial but after seeing good improvements and my gut feeling that I won't have a lot of time with him, we signed him up for some trials in August. My main focus with him was to have fun with him, as that's what Casey's intentions were. It wasn't very hard to to with after every run he'd fly into my arms with the biggest smile and lick my face. But after our months were up Casey came back and is now moving to the Czech Republic in Europe and she's taking the dogs with.

I went in on this thinking it would be fun to learn some new things from a different dog, as all dogs are different and require different methods. But I had no idea how attached I'd get to this dog. We connected almost immediately and it's been hard to not be able to see him anymore. But I'm really happy I got the amazing opportunity to run a dog like Cadence. Every run with him was like an adrenaline rush and I'm honored to be able to say "I ran that dog" Thank you so much Casey for letting me run him. I know he had a blast and so did I. I'm really going to miss him but now when I look back and watch videos of our runs I don't get sad. I sit there with the biggest smile on my face at all his goofy moments. Thank again.. for everything

So I kind of couldn't decide on a song. So I just used them all haha :)

fantastic work with ms,Cadence. you both did awesome in thoes short months, i know she will do fablous ahead of her, she got trained by one amazing dog trainer:) i hope you'll be able to met up with cadence again.=]

I think you've done a great job with Cadence during the time he's been with you, and you can tell he was having a good time. I hope all goes well with him in the future!

i almost cryed after reading you comment and continuing with the video it was so imosional im suprised she didnt say you could have him bbecause you too are perfect and he did amazing with you . its just a shame you now haev to let him go and you might not see himm again :( xxx

Aww this video makes me smile. Remember what I already told you. ;) I'm glad you made this video. Cadence was so good for you. I think he came at the right moment and time. I'm so happy you had the chance to run him. hahaha remember how it first started with the facebook video? hahahahaha-good times :)
