The turning point definately was the 2004 Indiana goal line stand. It not only preserved our perfect record over the Hoosiers but changed the team. Notice how they played different against Michigan State in 2004 than the rest of the season blasting them 37-13. But the transformation wasn't complete until we blasted Minnesota to get revenge for the dark years that began in 1999, the biggest demon was then exorcised and Penn State had proven they were back.

Very true, it seemed after the 21-0 lead, Paterno didn't want to embarrass Alvarez on his final year, so he took the foot off the gas, but made sure to answer every Wisconsin score (against the backups) with a Penn State score to keep the lead 21 points.

we controlled the tempo the entire game. mrob was insane passing for 238 yds and 2scores and he also ran for an additional 125.
