I hope this documentary can benefit human soul, can spread over Jungian legacy and can help Tibetan to preserve their spiritual tradition. Inspired by Jung's method of Active Imagination, Mysterium bridges polarities and communicate in a way that links together matter and spirit, thoughts and emotions, images and reflections, conscious and unconscious realities. The legacy of the Jungian approach to images emerged and took shape during the creation of this video that gradually grew, transforming itself from a sort of personal "diary of images" into a video to be shared and to convey experiences, arouse emotional resonance and lead to reflections on body/spirit coniunctio.
Testimonials from 12 Jungian Analysts coming from Italy, U.S.A., Venezuela, India, meet with images from different countries in the world and with testimonials from Tibetan Buddhism in India and in Nepal. Multiplicity of experiences are collected as the many in the One. The physical aspect of the spiritual dimension in its different expressions pervades the entire video. Through the flow of water Mysterium unfolds as a poetic prayer and reflects the language of the soul. The external lands are seen as interior landscapes.
Mysterium was presented at the XVIII International Congress of Analytical Psychology, Montreal 2010. A shorter version was presented in Cape Town 2007 (XVII IAAP International Congress) and in Italy 2003 (CIPA XII National Congress).

Ispirato al metodo dell'immaginazione attiva di C.G. Jung, il documentario si snoda come una preghiera poetica. Gli aspetti artistici, emozionali, immaginali danzano insieme a quelli più razionali legati al pensiero e alle riflessioni. Contiene testimonianze del buddhismo tibetano e interviste a 12 analisti Junghiani provenienti da diversi paesi del mondo, sul tema della spiritualità e del rapporto corpo/spirito.
Ogni intervista è montata in modo diverso e personale, con l'intento di esprimere la soggettività, l'unicità e la bellezza di ogni individuo. Tutte le interviste sono intervallate da musiche e immagini liberamente ispirate al tema della coniunctio corpo/spirito. Le immagini del mondo esterno sono percepite come immagini interiori.
