It's funny. When I saw Skitsystem they never once said "punk" or "Core" or "Crust". They defined themselves as D-beat and were the nicest people in a band I have ever met.
The show completely destroyed. I ended up standing behind the drummer, leaning on him with my foot against the wall, to keep the kids from pushing the set up against it. And they loved it! None of them complained about anything, ever.
If they ever get back together and come to the Eastern US, I'm booking that show.
@punkrckr3 you sound like a metalhead moron who thinks everything "core" has to do with metalcore, and not even the good metalcore like biohazard, the shitty melodic pop metalcore like bullet for my valentine and killswitch engage, and that just isn't the case... hardcore, post-hardcore, crust(core), grindcore, discore (kang, d-beat, whatever you call it) ... these are awesome genres of music, so stop being a hater
@Squeglee thats exactly what i was trying to get at, and i agree there not hardcore, people give a good name to something bad and it officially gives it a bad name,i fucking hate it
@Squeglee i didnt call them gay, But the use of core has gotten to an extent of witch it goten out of hand, Hardcore and Crustcore is basically the only exceptions to this, but Post Hardcore, Crabcore, Dancecore, Popcore, Rapcore, its all just shit, that is what i am referring to, This is fucking fantastic, the furthest from gay

@punkrckr3 Dude, the genres you mentioned-I don't even consider them to be hardcore. I agree, this is what has given HC the worst of names.
