@AugustusLarch I have never heard about Union Bank or of the bank itself. also, printing more money more than likely would not bring the economy up, but decrease the value of the dollar and driving prices up. Before WWII, prices were high, and after WWII, prices were low. @hofnerjoe Thank you sir for your service, you guys were the best, the Greatest Generation. My Father served as a fighter pilot in the Army Air Corps escorting B-17s to Germany in his P-51. You guys saw what the world needed done and stepped up without question, that showed a character that is rare today. @AugustusLarch You really cannot compare the german and italian navy to the IJN which was by far the best axis navy. The royal navy never would have survived in pacific first its carriers were equipted with small air groups, all FAA aircraft were obsolete, they needed american aircraft to have modern aircraft, no way could the RN be victorious at midway, the Swordfish never had to worry going up against carrier based aircraft in atlantic they would have been slaughtered by zeros and IJN AA fire

The benifits of war only are to the few who control industirial facillities and the raw materials. Who does war hurt. Working people. Union bank is still operating. Check it out. Prices have been on a steady climb since then. The US economy is so large it has a big lag. During the war the market governed prices. An economy can only afford so many bullets and so many loafs of bread. Millions of people were killed by a war that was engineered. Those new jobs produced a lot items that returned no money and were scrapped right after the war. That's called waste. You are indoctrinated.

Union Bank in the states funded the Nazi war machine. WWII was carefully designed. War bonds were citizens lending money to the government and contributed to inflation. Since war idustries only cost money and return none, the government had to print money out of thin air to pay the redeemed bonds.

A few people got tremdemously rich on scamming the taxpayer and killing millions of people. What's your argument now?

@AugustusLarch Both of your first comments are true, but im not so shure about the third. I believe Hitler and the Nazi party came to power due to the fact germany saw Hitler as a strong leader, even several anti-Nazis supported hitler, and as for the economy, its always like a wave, sometimes it goes up, other times it goes down, but the main thing that drives the economy is spending, and during the war, people bought up war bonds.
