This video shows you how I made MOST of the skirt of Minnie's gown. It is meant to be a visual guide...I don't provide precise measurements or templates. This just provides some insight into the techniques I used to fashion her gown. Enjoy!

WOW ! thank you so much for sharing your work and your passion with so much generosity ! I'm just wondering what are you using to make the armature, looks like plumber tubes right ? I'm planning to make a high and probably unstable cake so i'm trying to find the best solution to not have the cake on the floor lol Thank you

Yes Frantz...I don't know the technical name for them yet, as I got them in a cake class I took and haven't purchased them myself yet...but they are the pipes that used for our plumbing :) You can get them at HomeDepot or Lowes I've been told...and thanks Frantz!!

Great job, it is beautiful! What were the tools that you said you couldn't live without? It looked like some type of soft but firm foam at the end? Can you clean them and where did you get them

They are actually called color shapers. You can get them online. I got mine from Icing Inspirations. Try Googling "icing inspirations myshopify". You should see the site come up and then look for the "Shop" link.

This is amazing!!! Thank u so much for sharing! Could u plz tell me how do u keep all the fondant clean while doing the cake? Those dirt and fuzz really piss me off while I do my cake :(.(I tied my hair, wear white shirt and apron, clean the working area again and again, still cannot keep it 100% fuzz free >"< )

Oh, I hate fuzzies and lint too!! I keep a scrap piece of fondant nearby under a cup (so it won't dry out) at all times, and anytime I walk away from the project, when I come back I wash my hands, dry them and always rub them with the fondant to get the lint off of them. That seems to keep things lint and fuzzie free for me. (I also don't have any animals in the house, other than my children, lol, so that probably helps :)
