Wow that was brilliant. Ilove the twist. It must have taken you guys a while to get it all co-ordinated but it shows that drill, while important, can still be fun and entertaining!

The team for this event had very short notice to prepare this, I think it took them just over a week to get ready, an hour or so a night, a great achievement :)

Any squadrons thinking of doing this should know that they wont beat Eckington Squadron, the first to do colour flight :) and the first to surprise the audience with a dance mid way through :)

@joshyedward and you know all about Drill because? ever taken a course in it? Besides... this display wasn't about perfect drill, it was about displaying uniformity and doing drill but mixing it up in exciting ways.... if they were the queens colour squadron then maybe it would need to be a little more tidy.... these are youngsters (between 13 and 17 generally) and its good that they enjoy this type of thing in the first place... Hope this answers any questions you may have!

I must say, being a F/S at a SQN in the South i find that very amuzing :D we gave an amazing farewell to one of my SGTs. we blind folded him, tied him to a chair and tied the chair to the fence, we then took his blind fold off and then got all the cadets to sponge his and then we got silly string and got the cadets to spray him in all of that, oh this was all done in wedgewoods :D

@joshyedward I'm only 14 and i'm an air cadet drill is not easy and not the most exciting thing for a little kid to do cadets is for fun and any cadet will tell you drill is not their favorite thing to do and they don't want to bore us out of it were kids remember :)
