Have you been to Japan? I am writing from Japan.
And are you really married to a 75 year old? Sorry to be ageist. I surfed here from the pivotal scene in Blue Velvet where hubby is the coolest person on earth. Then I find he is married to a 22 year old Youtuber. Well, if anyone could pull that off, it would be him.
So you are going to Japan? I hope you enjoy/enjoyed it.

just letting you know, lolita fashion has a certain anatomy to it, such as a poofy cupcake shaped skirt or dress and usually is not paired with 'cat ears'. You need a petticoat to add volume to your dress and maybe would look best without the cardigan.I personally wouldn't call this lolita although you did get certain aesthetic right, you need a bit more practice. You can find out more about lolita fashion at hellolace. i recommend it for any new or beginners to the style

@CupcakeAndTea I appreciate your input, but I did mention in the video that the ears are not Lolita (rather cosplay), and that usually I would wear a petticoat - but I was in the middle of working on mine. Trust me, I've got the silhouette down. Also, from your source, in Casual style, it says that the pannier (petticoat) is not a priority. The sweater I'm wearing happened to be the only one that didn't go past my waist. Eventually I'll acquire a nice cardigan or bolero.
Thanks!
