  • Thank you! After reading reviews on Amazon about how to install the screen protector, there was a reference to your video. I decided to watch the video before even trying. Most helpful :-) The tip about the shower proved right. And, at the risk of making myself look like an idiot...... I was originally aligning top to bottom with the device horizontal vs. vertical. (until I watched the video) I was successful after the first try! (minus a tiny air bubble on the very bottom I can live with)

  • @cliniquechekon1 Thanks for the feedback! If the tiny bubble at the bottom is truly an air bubble, it should eventually work its way out with use. If the bubble is caused by dust...check out our video on how to remove it on our channel!

  • hi i was wondering which brand of screen protector u used in the video?

  • @bluewonder117 I believe it was a myGear Products Anti-Glare

  • With the KF having Gorilla Glass im not really sure if a screen protector is necessary. Whats your thoughts?

  • @bjmloker It's probably not necessary, but clearly people are buying them, otherwise, I wouldn't have made this video on how to install them. I suppose some people just like having that extra layer of protection. Also, Gorilla Glass doesn't do anything about the glare as far as I know. *Shrugs*

  • Hey thank you so much! Your method works great.

Much appreciate your posting, this was very helpful.

  • You are a lifesaver!! I already went through 2 screen protectors with no luck (never had this problem getting one on the iPhone!), but in under 10 minutes, managed to get a very close cut one on PERFECTLY, remove the dust and not throw the Kindle across the room. All this in a house with a cat and a human who hates to dust.... Now to enjoy the lack of glare!

  • why do you need to put a screen protector on it? i thought it had gorrilla glass

  • @screenprotectortv reading previous comments I realized why people buy screen protectors for the KF it's because they want to read outside with out glare like the regular kindle owners do.

  • Anti Glare is ESSENTAL for a Kindle Fire if you like to read outside like the regular Kindles.

  • Very helpful. Nice tip about doing it in the bathroom after a shower.
