  • are you aware of wine(windows compatibility layer)?it can run many windows programs including some games as well.if you search google for wine games you will find instructions for working games.

  • Does sleep and hibernate works??? any bugs???

  • well I havent tried those, but my guess is most probably it is not gonna work. I am trying to get wireless to work, it has a 1390 wireless chipset (bc43xx) and built in drivers does not work.other than that everything seems ok.

  • Love linux, hate grub boot loader. THis just screwes with your master boot sector

  • I agree. Vista is a very good OS but I like programming and I like to fully understand my OS down to the last piece of code so that is why I go with Linux.

If Vista was open source then i would like it a ton more. xD

  • Did you make a partion on your hard drive?

    PLEASE REPLY!

  • mi pussy is dripping

  • i got kubuntu and yes the wireless card works

  • Did you get your wireless connection to work in ubuntu? (If yes did you have any trouble?) Because i was thinking about buying this kind of laptop. please reply

  • Wireless works with ubuntu, but depends on your wireless card, if its supproted in linux, then it works.. and about partition, it doesnt matter (depends, really)

  • yea, it does for crappy/old computers

  • no really I have tested vista on many of my machines at home and work, all very capable machines, i have run many benchmarks and xp performs significantly better, I think vista is a very capable os, but for me I am waiting for windows 7, if windows 7 does not preform better, I will be going to ubuntu or os x. Anyways I love Microsoft I just hope they improve
