What the Prince Charming might have thought of Ella in the Glass Slipper. I chose this song because it is about a guy who keeps the woman he loves a secret from the world just like the way the Prince keeps Ella his secret until the slipper matching finale.

Me llevo años buscando esta pelicula tengo 35 años y esta pelicula me marco cuando la vi por primera vez hace ya mas de 25 años es una pelicula maravillosa. Comparto con ustedes la misma opinion ella una actris que entrega demasiado nos integra tanto a la pelicula que me olvido de la realidad nada mas que decir ¡aplauso! I think this might be my favorite adaption of the cinderella story. She's so real and human, and he is so gentle with her, never pushing her too fast, but loving her and being kind to her... so sweet!!!

@classicanj I so agree with you. It's my favourite adaptation too. The critics glorified the Drew Barrymore version Ever After about her being anti-damsel-in-distress BUT this is the original Cinderella with her own mind. More people should watch this.
I'm glad to know there are other people who love this movie as much as I do ever since I uploaded these videos. My intention was to spread the word about this beautiful movie.

This is lovely!! I watched this movie as a child and adored it. Is it really not available on DVD?

Not that I know of. Been looking for it myself and only the VHS version is available. However, there is a company in the UK that converts old movies like this into DVD for about GBP15 per movie or so. I don't really remember the company name but I think if you Google 'The Glass Slipper DVD', you might find it.

You mean the song I use here? It's from the Scottish band Wet Wet Wet and it's called Goodnight Girl. I favourited the original video in my Channel. The song is quite old released in 1991 when I was still in school. I bought the CD single when they re-released it in the UK in 1997. The band also sing Love Is All Around for that Hugh Grant movie Four Weddings And A Funeral.
