Tommy Emmanuel "Hope Street" (dedicated to George Harrison) Oslo 2012

This tune is quite new, and Tommy wrote it in tribute to the late George Harrison, who has been given Tommy so much inspiration to compose and phrase his own work. Tommy tells us that he some times asks himself at some points, how would George have played this?

It's nice when you hear an established musician say he wrote a new song and you don't think ugh he is going to make me listen to something rather than the standards we want to hear. He is going to play something that takes everything he has ever done to another place. Great song. Well done Tommy.
