A company running ads for it's service every commercial break sounds more like Cablevision than Verizon to me.

Honestly, they want to bombard the costumer with ads. I worked for them and they want us to repeat "it is our goal at verizon that you recommend us to your friends and family. Thank you for calling verizon" at the end of each call over and over like a robot.
