I kid you not, I LIVE in the town Lou Reed grew up in, and my daughter will be graduating high school from the SAME H.S! :) His picture is on the wall in the hallway....I should take a pic for you! Sometimes the world doesn't seem so big does it?

New York City is not for me....hate it in fact, but if your ever on Long Island, I'd be happy to show you some of it's high points! :) Sarah could show you around the city though,not sure where she gets it from, but the city runs through her blood!

That's very kind of you. I often wonder if growing up on Mull affected my appreciation for aesthetics and if living in Glasgow now has dulled it. Ah the famous Long Island, lots of people and airports? Lou Reed's first home I think? It's a funny thing that because of American cinema the rest of the world knows the USA better than it's own doorstep very often.
