  • @runninonempiy OH I forgot to mention the most important thing...THE 3.0 is the MOST RELIABLE EVER!!...It's nick named the iron duke..The exact same motor has been in use since the 60's and they are still on the water todays with thousands of hours on them..

  • @Daxon21 4.3 is a pig! These 175 and 185's are perfect with the 3.0...If you want more motor go bigger boat..The 4.3 sucks as much gas as a 305..After owner MANY boats and motor configurations I would go with a 175 3.0 or a 19 + 5.7 liter..Maybe the 305 but will NEVER own another 4,3..The maintenance trouble alone with the v8 is the same with a 4.3...Hard to get to plugs starter is a nightmare on a 4.3 believe it or not the starter is easier to remove on the v8's and minuscule gas consumption d

  • The 3.0 is a great motor, very efficient, but you will have trouble getting full sized people up on skis with 3-4 already in the boat. Perfect for tubes and family though.

  • @Zero87Cool no way! lags big time for larger people

  • @Zero87Cool wakeboarding only requires slow speed to get up, so the 3 L is fine...

  • 4.3L or bust

  • Does anyone know if the 135hp is enough for wakeboarding? or are you foolish not to get the bigger engine?

  • thats the boat i have, love it love it

  • As long as you prop it right it should be fine.

  • Hey, that's my boat. Except I have the larger 190hp engine. I can hit 55 mph on the lake. I don't have the "quick key starting" but I just pump the throttle a couple times before starting. Its a roomy boat but remember that once you get the cooler, the towables, snacks, etc out it takes a lot of room. BTW It sits nose high in the water so its pretty easy to drive it up on to the trailer since the weight is all in the back.
