Rugby players are stout, and very physically fit no doubt, but a rugby player no matter how good would not survive a big hit from one of these major college or professional American football players. Their speed and strength is just flat out nuclear powered.

Let me say it again, a rugby player taking a shot from one of these division 1 NCAA or professional NFL football players would leave them paralyzed or even DOA.

ive found out that the two sports are in no way similar, the only similar thing is tackling. and yes, football had way harder hits (like this one haha) but in rugby you realize you dont have pads, and you do wat you gotta do to get the guy to the ground. i love football and rugby

p.s- only reason i left football is because i never got the ball, now in rugby im the team captain, and i lead scorer on the team :D
