ABC Pro Bowlers Tour - 1981 Quaker State Open - semifinal

Seeded #1 and #2 going into the TV stepladder finals were Marshall Holman and Mark Roth, so most bowling fans were hoping to see this dream final match. In Match 3 of the stepladder finals, the semi-final match, Mark Roth, who got past Wayne Webb in the previous match, first had to dispatch little-known rookie Richard Martinez, making his first appearance on Pro Bowlers Tour. The winner would go on to face Marshall Holman for the title.
