I also saw this on way to speke. 2 glowing orange objects following eachother toward mersey. Nearly put my car into central reservation whilst watching!

Xmas day driving home on the A27 to Chichester at 8.30pm saw two bright orange lights gliding silently from the south one following the other. I stopped the car + rolled down the window to listen for an engine but- silence. A third followed but winked out just before it came over my car. It was raining slightly with little wind and they seemed to pulse with a ballooning field around them. They had no discernable body or wings or wing lights, they were just v bright orange moving lights.
