the modus operandi is similar, in the 2 cases. i dont know if they are the same person, but whoever killed elizabeth short was a serial killer. that iam almost certain of.

@flowerdrop1 You need hardcore evidence. They did not have as much forensic technology back then like on CSI. You can't publicly say someone is the killer without proof, that would be slander. Some killers are smarther than the police thats a fact.

Although I have my doubts that The Cleveland torso killer had anything to do with Elizabeth Short's death, this was an interesting theory.

This is the second case of a known psychopath being aided, known for killing his victims, often under nearby investigation, and allowed to continue. Well, indirectly of course, but the dots were awfully close here.  Meaning, the suspected it was him, but he was free to come and go. The other one was in Florida, he was married. He ended up by killing his wife, his niece and himself, by hanging in the garage.
