It was only when I started playing with the light reading on my web cam did the idea of theatre come to me with both Ride on, Black is the Colour and now this. I have never done drugs in my life.. contra to most peoples perception.. and am in fact totally against it mainly for the pain, damage and suffering is causes although I would never deny the right for anyone to do what they want to do.. • I have to give you a five for your post alone .(your song & playing is always great) You have to be proud to having said no to drugs, like you, I have always said no to drugs & I do not judge others that do, for it is theire lives. ++++++ Live & let live ,

  • Its a song that I have very rarely heard Gladys.. likewise I do not judge what anyone does behind their own doors.. I prefer to work a little bit harder at enriching my life experience.. and drugs has never been a part of that.. L&LL indeed..

  • Well, to name a few. There's also Eric Clapton, Taj Mahal, and probably a pantheon of others, but these are the ones that came to mind right away. Especially John Prine.

  • Neil Young, John Prine, and John Lennon are masters at writing songs about drugs. Good job on this one. Poignant message.
