IACs Island: Flyby and Secrets (Red Faction)

This is a video of a map I made in 2007, for Red Faction, of an Island. This video, for the first 3 min and 40 sec is just a fly by of the map showing some of the various details, then the rest of the video shows all the secrets in the map for those who have played it and haven't found them. :P
Note: If someone gets in the secret and is camping just go to either the teepee or the hut, go inside them and push your use key and the person in the secret should die. :P

About the map:
It took about 1 months to make working on it a bit each night. I made the map for the January 2007 Red Faction Mapping Competition on www.levels4you.com, I didn't win though because the map wasn't fully tested before it was uploaded so thre were bugs in it that would cause Red Faction to crash. Later I uploaded a fixed version that also had some new things added. The map is a bit over 2x RED's 'limits', I used a way I discovered, a year or so earlier, to go above and beyond RED's 'limits' without it crashing. I uploaded 2 versions of the map, (both compatible with each other) A Normal Res version and a Low Res version. The only difference between the versions is the texture resolutions. The average texture size of the Normal res version is 512x512, and the average texture size of the Low res version is 256x256.

Although it doesn't look as good as the original uploaded video, because youtube must lower the quality even on HD videos, it still looks pretty good.


IMO The map looks pretty good considering it's made on an 8 year old graphics engine. :P

*Note* If the video plays chopy when you click the HD button, your probably going to have to start the video from the beginning again, then it should play smooth.
