Parkzone Trojan T-28D maiden with hand launches, take offs and landings

!!!!Jan. 23rd 2010, 4500 views, thank you!!!!Just got my T-28D and took her out for a spin. Some hand launches, mostly runway take offs and landings. I took it easy though because this bird is getting a kick in the shorts mod in a couple weeks (Turnigy SK35-42 motor-videos to come). Though I have over 70 flights on my first T-28, these were my very first take offs and landings with the Trojan since I always belly flopped the first one due to the landing gear being destroyed. You can see the crash which did this in my other video "T-28 Maiden with Crash". Also, the elevator is way more touchy on this one than on my other T-28, I have to tinker with it a bit before the next flight. You can see how touchy it is in a couple parts.

How long is a flight on the stock battery?

@gradius02 Depends a lot on how you fly...I used 2200mah 3S and got about 6-9 miunutes...ymmv.

Can you use walkera lipo batterys for this plane

@SVenables97 You need 3S and 1800mah at least, though I wouldn't fly it with less than 2200 mah, flight times will just be too short. I don't know what a Walkera lipo has, but if it doesn't have at least the above, don't bother.

I'm a beginner. The club I'll be joining recommended the T-28. Any trouble with those tiny wheels in the grass? Didn't appear to be.
