  • This is all really interesting, I have seen this look for a while now and have been intrigued by it. One suggestion I would make for your website FAQ... If you get resin on your hands you should definitely ***NOT*** clean your hands with acetone as it is very TOXIC and goes straight to your blood stream.

  • @marchelovera EXCELLENT point - the best way (but not the most effective) is with soap and water! any solvent will break down the epoxy resin and make it absorb-able by the skin. Thanks for the note. very important.

  • You are beautiful...good job

  • @cw8307 YOU are beautiful

  • Hi, I am wondering if there is a way to thin out the art resin enough to coat small, 3-dimensional pieces of paper sculpture by dipping the piece into the resin. Can you just use water to thin it, or do you use a larger proportion of one of the two materials you mixed? Do you think this dipping technique would work? Thanks!

  • @faerychild714 I would suggest doing many thin coats brushed on to avoid drips. you can try your dunking idea, but this process may be a waste of artresin, having too mix a pot of it to dip in, and if it is too thick, again, you will have run lines and drips.

2-3 thinner coats will give you the results you want without run lines and drips!

  • @davezak No you are

  • @darshanasardamoola I would suggest a few things. 1) google eti-usa and find their website - they have a page showing international distributors. 2) boat hobby stores (used to coat outside of boats) 3) furniture finishing supply (used to finish table tops) - I hope this can help you find it!

  • where can i buy ur stuff in bangalore , India or can you suggest alternate names which I can use in bangalore and ar eeasily available.

  • @ambientgreg yes it is heavy! Depends how thick you apply it.
