  • Rock!!! \m/

  • Irwin Thomas doesn't get lost dude, lucky to have ever heard him sing or hit a bum note in his life, he's a freak.

  • If I had a band and played concerts this is the first song I will scream out of my lungs.. well done

  • Great effort Irsy! This guy can play/sing anything!

  • Pretty damn good. Seems like the singer got a little lost for a minute during the solo, but all in all it pretty much kicked ass. The female singers are what really gave that version the edge. 1 to 10 scale, every bit of a 9+.

  • goddamn wish i was there...that is SUPER HOT!!! ohhh..!

  • Sorry to spoil everyones theory that this was the first heavy/punk song. You Tube the MC5 to see one of the wildest bands of the 60's. There were also plenty of garage bands doing that too. Thats how the Saints got their influences. Plus in Aussie we had Billy Thorpe and Lobby Lloyde. Billy pulled bigger crowds than the Beatles did when they came to Aus in 64. My dad was doing rock in the year of my birth in 58 and they were wild too. He always told me his influence was Bo Diddley.

  • I really love this song, I think it shows the many different kind of song Sir Paul can sing. From Yesterday to Long Tall Sally to Helter Skelter.

  • What a tribute to Sir Paul McCartney, it was HIM who wrote the first heavy metalsong ever!!

  • I think it was the first heavy metal song. Sure a lot of bands had elements of heavy metal before The White Album, but it seems like Helter Skelter was the first to incorporate all of the elements of heavy metal. I know a lot of heavy metal bands love The Beatles (Ozzy especially)and of course the Charles Manson connection to Helter Skelter makes it even more legit. I noticed that the lead singer of this band is wearing a "Ramones" t-shirt who got their name from Paul McCartney.

  • Did anyone notice that HELTER SKELTER may have been the first true heavey metal/punk song? Leave it to The Beatles to be music innovators. Great job on this cover version. Lots of energy!

  • I'm impressed with the engergy. That makes it better despite some pitch problems (but hey, Lennon was never spot on, either, so I wouldn't worry about it).

  • awesome
