The event was organized by the cinnamon lakeside hotel and was promoted by Sri Lanka Tourism. The fashion show, showcased 4 local designers and the clothes were modeled by the 12 beauties from Slovakia. These 12 models are the 12 finalists for Miss Slovakia for Miss Universe 2010. One of the 12 girls will represent Slovakia at the Miss Universe 2010 contest. They were in Sri Lanka for just over a week on a photo shoot and visited many parts of the country.
