  • Mancini should be cloned. This man has made some damn good television themes. "What's Happening?!", "Newhart," and this to name a few.

  • @msmithstud must be american.in britain hotel was shown on thursday nights on itv, dynasty on saturday nights on bbc, then friday nights in later series

  • I forgot about this show. Shari Belafonte is so pretty. RIP Nathan Cook #TheWhiteShadow. :)

  • Some Cast My First time watching the opening lol for this show a lot of cast members lol and Guests wow than again it was classed as a soap

  • @daretosayit By the way...Martin Hewitt got his big break in the film "Endless Love" with Brooke Shields as her love interest. The movie did not do so well at the box office. But we all know Oscar winning theme song by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.

  • I used to watch this show on ABC on Wednesday nights after Dynasty (another Spelling project). The theme was performed by Henry Mancini (Pink Panther, Peter Gunn). It was the last network venue for James Brolin before starring in Pensacola: Wings of Gold, a syndicated series.

  • Nathan Cook....R I P

  • @ts1depot At the time, these guest stars were quite well known - through different mediums: Karen Glassle - (TV) I mean who hasn't heard of Little House on the Prairie??? (Melissa Sue Anderson also guest starred on Hotel on another episode); Martin Hewitt (film) was relatively new to acting, but he was featured in a an early 80s movie (in 1981 I think) ; Robert Pine (TV) was from CHiPs; Iggy was primarily a stage actor, but had roles on many prominent shows. Tori was just starting out in 1981.

  • Shea Farrell was awesome!

  • @ts1depot most of these people probably were on the Love Boat at one time or another!

  • I'm really confused by the "roster" of "guest stars?" Except for Jane Wyatt, they were pretty much nobodies. And was that Tori Spelling?! LOL... Even as a kid, she had those funky eyes.
