Klipsch RF-7 playing with foobar at 96/24

Don't be tricked from listening to speakers through pc speakers. Things in the real world are quite different. The RF-7 is a great loudspeaker but with tonal specialities... This why i gave them away. But as long as i kept them they offered me great moments!You can find them used with more or less 1500 euros or new with about 3500 euros in europe. In America they are cheaper.

Sound card is a Realtec HDAudio ALC 880. But what is important is D/A conversion done outboard... I only use the digital optical output of the laptop having set the output at 96/24.

Now I own a pair of Audio Physic Scorpio II and in a short period of time i will upgrade my amp as well. I changed my system because I wanted a more balanced loudspeaker because my Klipsch had a lot of tonal missperfections.... I wanted something neutral and esoteric...

No. I never needed one with my Klipsch speakers. But I do not own them any more. I sold them all five spaekers and I bought another pair.

Yes. It'pioneer vsx d2011 s. It waw a great machine when it was presented.
