Southern Israel and Gaza rocket threat, impact on kibbutz communities and children

JN1's Jordana Miller visits a kibbutz in southern Israel to see what conditions are really like and what residents have to say. The kibbutz is only seven kilometers from the Gaza border, and so far this year over 400 Grad missiles, rockets, and mortars have been fired into Israel.

The Israeli government says it has improved security and built new bomb shelters, but residents say there are not enough shelters and safe buildings. They have only 15 seconds to make it to a shelter when the warning sounds. Many say that after eight years of attacks, they should be able to feel safer in their homes.

2. Yes I agree that Israel needs to be careful and think of his people. If it is not necessary to hit - restrain. If it is only solution - to hit or even invade. Be careful using this demagogic "argument". If you think you will understand that it means: I hate Jews but I am not antisemitic because I like Arabs. The term "antisemitism" was used by German racist Wilhelm Marr only referring to Jewish people. Everebodu know that. Only you not?

Very sad, but I pray the IDF does not decide on another full-scale invasion on Gaza. Their infastructure is still in shambles. Another war will just create more Jihadists and more rocket attacks. It will be complex, but I believe one day a lasting ceasefire and lifting of the blockade is possible.
