Rune Factory: Frontier - Fallen from the Sky (Candy&Cinnamon's Intro)

To trigger: After Stella hints to you to water the sprout by the Clock Tower, continuously check the actual clock tower building everyday (knock with the nunchuck). Eventually, one day you will notice it's door are unlocked. When inside, try checking the entire building for an old man dressed in blue. If he's not there, take the Mountain Path (which is just west of Erik's house) and keep following it until you see him. Talk to him to meet him, and you will learn that his name is Kanno. But you must be able to talk to him when he's inside the clock tower afterwards, until he mentions his granddaughters. Then exist the tower to trigger this scene. After you have unlocked Candy and Cinnamon, you can use their powers to your advantage. Candy can make Rune Wonders for you using Runeys, she'll give you the Harvester to catch them. Cinnamon can identify constellations for you when you view the stars at the Observatory on the Mountain Road, and she will also give you a fishing pole (talk to her when you see her fishing.) Note that Candy (the shorter one dressed in all pink) is NOT an eligible bachelorette, but Cinnamon is.

Both girls and Kanno will now reside at the Clock Tower.

*Early on, Kanno will ask you to find him Cheap Cloth. Do so, you can find some at Whale Island. Sometimes the goblins at the very start of the cave will drop it, you have to keep trying. Once you obtain one, give it to Kanno to receive a Fire Rod in return.

I'm having trouble triggering the intro 'cause no matter how many times I try Kanno never mentions his grandchildren. I'm at spring 8 Mon right now and I talked to him around 11:30 AM inside the clock tower and even tried around the same time yesterday, but no success so far...Oh and Kanno requested me a magic powder and not a cheap cloth.

Well I suppose maybe the requests differ from game to game? Or it's just random. Either way magic powder and cheap cloth are fairly easy to get early on.

Anyway, try talking to Kanno when he's on Mountain Road on either a Wednesday between 12pm-6pm or Holidays between 12pm-5pm. That's when he told me about Candy&Cinnamon, and be presistent! Talk to him a whole bunch and he will eventually mention them.

Yeah, Drop is her Japanese name. It was changed to Cinnamon in English.

Yes it's fun. And Natsume does not make Harvest Moon games, they just translate them. This time around though, this game was translated by XSEED games.
