It's the way the worlds becoming. Augmented!! It's a hybrid of the real world and the virtual, hence the saying "Augmented Reality". It's not completely "virtual".

@ghostbuster457 no, it is much simpler than that it is an actual cereal box, just with a logo that the computer tracks it's orientation and then creates a 3d model to go inside the window and overlay both the images.

I spent hours and hours in front of the cereal box when I was child....
Bastards, you could create this earlier, I learnt by hearth every single word on that cereal box!

using a webcam, he got an empty cereal box with a hole cut out and used computer tech to animate stuff around it.
